The paper consists of the proof of the following Theorem: Let G be a group and let A be a finite subset of G such that if a,b\(\in A\) and \(a\neq b\), then ab\(\in A\). Then one of the following holds: 1) A is a subgroup of G. 2) A consists of involutions and \(A\cup \{1\}\) is a subgroup of G. 3) A is the set of non-involutions of the quaternion group \(Q_ 8\). 4) There exists \(a\in G\), such that A is one of \(\{\) \(a\}\), \(\{\) 1,a\(\}\), or \(\{1,a,a^{-1}\}\).
