Chaos control of discrete systems is an extensively studied subject and the authors of the present paper are deeply involved in this topic. Their main result is a better method for determining the fixed point's neighborhood in which the system remains stable if it is subjected to a linear law. The authors prove the validity of their method through a theorem on effective local control of chaotic dynamical system. The numerical simulation confirms the theoretical results and it is shown that the neighborhood's chosen gain matrix is optimal. In addition, the ways of practically implementing the obtained theorem are proposed.
