Darauf stellt er fest, da\u00df\\ man, wenn \\(n_i\\) \\((i = 1, 2,\\dots, n)\\) die Versoren des \\(n\\)-Beins einer Kurve \\(C\\) im variablen Punkt \\(P\\) sind,  \\[  \\frac{dn_i}{ds}=\\gamma n_i  \\]  setzen kann (\\(s\\) = Bogenl\u00e4nge von \\(C\\)); \\(\\gamma\\) ist dabei eine axiale Homographie (Kr\u00fcmmungshomographie), f\u00fcr welche das entsprechende Orthogonalsystem gerade durch die Versoren der Richtungen des \\(n\\)-Beins gegeben ist. Die Kr\u00fcmmungshomographie definiert die infinitesimale Bewegung, die (bis auf eine Translation) das \\(n\\)-Bein des Punktes \\(P\\) in das des Punktes \\(P + dP\\) \u00fcberf\u00fchrt.
