Statements
A unifying approach for studying the power series of the positive linear operators from a certain class of operators is described. The Bernstein, Durrmeyer, beta, Stancu, genuine Bernstein-Durrmeyer operators, the linking operators and the Kantorovich-type modification of these operators belong to this class of operators. Further, simpler proofs of some known ergodic theorems are given for the same operators.
