Statements
Consider a Hamiltonian action of the circle on a connected compact symplectic manifold \((M, \omega)\) of dimension \(2n\). Then this circle action has at least \(n + 1\) fixed points. Having previously discussed the case when the fixed point set consists of exactly \(n + 1\) isolated points in [``Hamiltonian circle actions with minimal isolated fixed points'', Preprint, \url{arXiv:1407.1948}], the author discusses in this work the case when the fixed point set consists of exactly \(n+2\) isolated points. The first observation is that in such a case \(n\) must be even. The main result of this work describes conditions on the image of the fixed point set by the moment map, which imply that the cohomology ring and the total Chern class of \(M\) are isomorphic to that of \(\widetilde G_2(\mathbb P^{n+2})\) and that the sets of weights of the circle action on \(M\) are those of a standard action on \(\widetilde G_2(\mathbb P^{n+2})\).
