V\u00e4is\u00e4l\u00e4. It is well known that a \\(Q\\)-homeomorphism \\(f:D\\rightarrow {D}^{\\prime}\\) can be extended to the boundary of \\(D\\) under certain conditions on \\(Q\\) and on the boundaries of \\(D\\) and \\(D^{\\prime}\\). The author extends this result proving the sufficiency of a weaker condition which requires that the given mapping \\(f\\) is a ring \\(Q\\)-homeomorphism. More precisely, given a point \\(x_0\\in \\partial D\\), suppose that \\(f:D\\rightarrow {D}^{\\prime}\\), \\(f(D)=D^{\\prime}\\), is a ring \\(Q\\)-homeomorphism. Suppose furthermore that \\(D\\) is locally connected at the point \\(x_0\\) and that the boundary of \\(D^{\\prime}\\) is strongly accessible at least at one of the points of the limiting set \\(C(f, x_0)\\). Then \\(f\\) can be continuously extended to the point \\(x_0\\) if \\(Q\\) has finite mean oscillation at \\(x_0\\) or if only logarithmic singularities of order \\(\\leq n-1\\) occur.
