The \\(p\\)-exponent of a spectrum \\(E\\) is the order of the identity in the homotopy group \\([E, E]_0\\). Fisher proved a conjecture of Bousfield on the value of the \\(p\\)-exponent of \\(\\Phi SU(n)\\). In this paper, the author determines the \\(p\\)-exponents of \\(\\Phi X\\), and shows that \\(\\Phi X\\) is built up by fibrations of \\(\\Phi S^{2i+1}\\)'s, for all exceptional Lie groups \\(X\\) and odd primes \\(p\\). These results are based on the structure of \\(K^1(\\Phi X)=PK^1(X)/\\psi^p\\) determined by computation of the Adams operations whose complicated parts were done by use of
