In the paper under review the author proves that the free product with amalgamated central subgroups of two finite \\(p\\)-groups is conjugacy \\(p\\)-separable.   As a consequence, one obtains that a free product with amalgamated subgroups of two finitely generated Abelian groups is a residually finite \\(p\\)-group if and only if it is conjugacy \\(p\\)-separable. Note that if a group is conjugacy (\\(p\\)-)separable, then it is a residually finite (\\(p\\)-)group, but the converse fails to hold in general.
