Die periodische Bewegung entspricht dann der Trajektorie \\(p=q=0\\) im \\((p,q,t)\\)-Raum.  Versteht man unter  \\[  p(p_0,q_0,t), q(p_0,q_0,t)  \\]  die Koordinaten eines Punktes zur Zeit \\(t\\), der zur Zeit 0 die Koordinaten \\(p_0,q_0\\) hat, und setzt man  \\[  \\begin{aligned} p_1 &= p(p_0,q_0,2\\pi )=\\varphi (p_0,q_0),\\\\ q_1 &=q(p_0,q_0,2\\pi ) = \\psi (p_0,q_0), \\end{aligned}  \\]  so werde allgemein mit \\(T\\) die Transformation  \\[  p_1 = \\varphi (p,q), \\;q_1 = \\psi (p,q)  \\]  bezeichnet. Nach \\textit{Poincar\u00e9} (M\u00e9thodes nouvelles de la m\u00e9canique c\u00e9leste T. III, Paris 1910) erweist sich die periodische Bewegung \\(p=q=0\\) dann und nur dann als stabil, wenn es um \\(p=q=0\\) beliebig kleine invariante Kurven \\(f\\) gibt. Es k\u00f6nnen im nichtintegrablen Fall, wie Verf. zeigt, drei F\u00e4lle eintreten  1) Es gibt nur die Kurve \\(p=q=0\\) (Instabilit\u00e4t).  2) Die Kurven \\(f\\) entsprechen einem vollen Parameterintervall.  3) Die Kurven \\(f\\) entsprechen nicht einem vollen Parametrintervall, so da\u00df\\ es zwei invariante, den Parameterwerten \\(\\tau _1\\) und \\(\\tau _2\\) entsprechende Kurven \\(f_1\\) und \\(f_2\\) gibt, w\u00e4hrend Parameterwerten \\(\\tau \\) aus \\(\\tau _1<\\tau <\\tau _2\\) kein invariante Kurve entspricht.
