Als Differentialumkleidung der Navigationsaufgabe werden zwei Systeme von \\(n\\) Gleichungen erster Ordnung in den \\(2n\\) Unbekannten \\(x_i\\), Koordinaten, \\(\\alpha_i\\), Steuerrichtungscosinus des Fahrzeugs, erhalten. Die erste Gruppe besteht aus den \\(n\\) kinematischen Gleichungen  \\[  \\dot x_i=w_i+V\\alpha_i,  \\]  wo \\(w_i\\) die gegebenen Komponenten der Windgeschwindigkeit sind und \\(V\\) die konstante Eigengeschwindigkeit relativ zur umgebenden Luftmasse ist.
