In this paper, the authors addressed the computation and numerical stability analysis of pulse-like structures of reaction-diffusion equation in annular domain on an anisotropic surface. This was motivated by experiments performed in such microgeometries for catalic reaction such as CO oxidation on Pt (110) and the NO-CO reaction on Pt (100).
