The author introduces and studies two different topologies on the space of BV-integrable functions on an \(n\)-dimensional cube. First of them is based upon Alexiewicz norm, while the second one is the Fréchet topology defined by the countable increasing family of norms depending on the perimeter of sets. In the second case, the author succeeds in characterizing the dual space. In the last part of the paper, one can find some results concerning a topology on the space of functions of bounded variation on an \(n\)-dimensional space.
