This monograph is a synthesis of their work. In particular they study three kinds of continued fractions, namely \\(\\theta\\)-continued fractions, \\(N\\)-continued fractions, and generalized R\u00e9nyi continued fractions. After a general introduction, the authors study in detail each of these families (basic metric properties, associated dynamical system and its properties, Gauss-Kuzmin-like theorem, etc.). The last chapter is devoted to comparing the ``efficiency'' of these continued fraction algorithms (\u00e0 la Lochs, i.e., how many generalized partial quotients are needed to obtain the first \\(k\\) decimal digits of a real in the unit interval). The book is well-written, it is reasonably easy to read. Furthermore it contains a useful list of 76 references. All this makes this book a must-read for mathematicians working in (or curious about) this field.","type":"string"},"datatype":"string"},"type":"statement","id":"Q7013472$02CEC33D-D7F8-405C-AADC-E1572B134389","rank":"normal"}],"P1447":[{"mainsnak":{"snaktype":"value","property":"P1447","hash":"845abdf0c3e7df8eeaf94dc258fde16321cf5952","datavalue":{"value":{"entity-type":"item","numeric-id":187638,"id":"Q187638"},"type":"wikibase-entityid"},"datatype":"wikibase-item"},"type":"statement","id":"Q7013472$F8B7F495-7A81-46D0-80ED-F6BD46355143","rank":"normal"}],"P226":[{"mainsnak":{"snaktype":"value","property":"P226","hash":"067dd3e8e57dae9cdb00a71330df035b9357faf5","datavalue":{"value":"11-02","type":"string"},"datatype":"external-id"},"type":"statement","id":"Q7013472$FC510681-854E-4310-AA2D-E20E191642EF","rank":"normal"},{"mainsnak":{"snaktype":"value","property":"P226","hash":"0befaa790b323ef6816b91ab2e2ed13fbfa3d847","datavalue":{"value":"11K50","type":"string"},"datatype":"external-id"},"type":"statement","id":"Q7013472$99D7067E-DA62-49CE-941D-60D96A8CB43D","rank":"normal"},{"mainsnak":{"snaktype":"value","property":"P226","hash":"5648d57cf9b82b961864414b7326649c4d02c6a2","datavalue":{"value":"11J70","type":"string"},"datatype":"external-id"},"type":"statement","id":"Q7013472$927DB569-CE88-42C3-BE9D-6DAE013B47DB","rank":"normal"}],"P1451":[{"mainsnak":{"snaktype":"value","property":"P1451","hash":"6fdbb8ed371b80eb69155802b79d0126940253c4","datavalue":{"value":"8010251","type":"string"},"datatype":"external-id"},"type":"statement","id":"Q7013472$08E85482-3945-4F23-B487-DAAEDC7BC6D4","rank":"normal"}],"P1450":[{"mainsnak":{"snaktype":"value","property":"P1450","hash":"b1afa361983320c5df1612f86b5330fe7d116b12","datavalue":{"value":"continued fraction algorithms","type":"string"},"datatype":"string"},"type":"statement","id":"Q7013472$79C05D57-6E28-4EA6-9A20-B9B1AE1C916F","rank":"normal"},{"mainsnak":{"snaktype":"value","property":"P1450","hash":"2b7c70f66a88bb665f7489bd1afc071d42aae407","datavalue":{"value":"metric theory","type":"string"},"datatype":"string"},"type":"statement","id":"Q7013472$162BC0C9-7CB6-42F5-864C-7EB349B2444E","rank":"normal"},{"mainsnak":{"snaktype":"value","property":"P1450","hash":"8fb7b8493ae37f2c992687023d46f97593cf9dbc","datavalue":{"value":"ergodic theory","type":"string"},"datatype":"string"},"type":"statement","id":"Q7013472$2B355874-8DAD-4634-B948-9BAAFEF67D1C","rank":"normal"},{"mainsnak":{"snaktype":"value","property":"P1450","hash":"a001378c0bb8b7fb15ffb72ca5b81457ffdb69f1","datavalue":{"value":"Gauss-Kuzmin theorems","type":"string"},"datatype":"string"},"type":"statement","id":"Q7013472$DBF9FE2E-A720-49FB-8A36-537D646471BB","rank":"normal"}],"P1460":[{"mainsnak":{"snaktype":"value","property":"P1460","hash":"57f7fea50d2ce1b39b695c4a1313582eed405e38","datavalue":{"value":{"entity-type":"item","numeric-id":5976449,"id":"Q5976449"},"type":"wikibase-entityid"},"datatype":"wikibase-item"},"type":"statement","id":"Q7013472$892181F4-ED46-44B6-AE52-48D7059D068F","rank":"normal"}]},"sitelinks":{"mardi":{"site":"mardi","title":"Metrical and ergodic theory of continued fraction algorithms","badges":[],"url":"https://portal.mardi4nfdi.de/wiki/Metrical_and_ergodic_theory_of_continued_fraction_algorithms"}}}}}
