The paper under review provides a generalization of Cohen-Macaulay dimension of modules over commutative rings, introduced earlier by Gerko, to bounded complexes over noncommutative Noetherian rings. The main tool, called a semi-dualizing bimodule, is a generalization of a tool with the same name introduced earlier by L. Christensen.
