In the paper under review the author gives a construction of \\(\\bar M_{0,n}(\\mathbb P^r,d)\\) as a GIT-geometric quotient of the graph space by the action of \\(SL_2\\). This construction generalizes \\textit{Y. Hu} and \\textit{S. Keel}'s construction of \\(\\bar M_{0,n}\\) as a GIT-quotient of the Fulton-MacPherson configuration space \\(\\mathbb P^1[n]\\) by the action of \\(SL_2\\) in [Mich. Math. J. 48, Spec. Vol., 331--348 (2000; Zbl 1077.14554)].  Let \\(\\mathbb P^r_d\\) denote \\(\\mathbb P(\\bigoplus_0^rH^0(\\mathbb P^1, \\mathcal O_{\\mathbb P^1}(d)))\\). The author shows that the (generalized) Givental map \\(\\Phi:\\bar M_{0,n}(\\mathbb P^r\\times \\mathbb P^1,(d,1))\\to(\\mathbb P^1)^n\\times \\mathbb P_d^r\\) [see \\textit{A. B. Givental}, Int. Math. Res. Not. 1996, No. 13, 613--663 (1996; Zbl 0881.55006)] descends to a map \\(\\bar\\Phi\\) between (the stable locus for a suitable polarization of) the same spaces modulo the action of \\(SL_2\\). In the case of no marked points, \\(\\bar\\Phi \\) is birational. In this case, the author uses results of \\textit{A. Musta\u0163\u0103} and \\textit{M. A. Musta\u0163\u0103} [Invent. Math. 167, No. 1, 47--90 (2007; Zbl 1111.14018)] to show that \\(\\bar M_{0,0}(\\mathbb P^r,d)\\) can be obtained as a sequence of ``weighted blow-ups along regular embeddings'' of a projective variety. This elementary construction of \\(\\bar M_{0,0}(\\mathbb P^r,d)\\) could be useful, for instance, to compute its Chow ring in the spirit of \\textit{S. Keel}'s work [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 330, No. 2, 545--574 (1992; Zbl 0768.14002)], where the Chow ring of a blow up is
