The authors consider Lie algebras \(L\) consisting of ``infinitesimal operators'' \[ \sum_ i \xi^ i(x,u)\partial_{x^ i}+\sum_ \nu \eta^ \nu(x,u)\partial_{u^ \nu}, \qquad x=(x^ 1,\dots,x^ n), \quad u=(u^ 1,\dots,u^ m). \] They study the second order differential invariants of \(L\) in the case \(L\) is the Euclid algebra, the extended Euclid algebra, the rotation algebra, the Poincaré algebra, the conformal algebra, the Galilei algebra. Some results about an infinite dimensional algebra under which \((\partial_{x_ 0}u)^ 2-\sum_ 1^ n(\partial_{x_ j}u)^ 2=0\) is invariant are also given.
