The main purpose of this paper is to present a method for approximating the absolutely continuous invariant measures by means of approximating the Frobenius-Perron operator \(P_{\tau}\) by finite-dimensional operators. Here \(\tau\) is a Jablonski transformation from the \(n\)- dimensional unit cube into itself. This generalizes the one-dimensional results of \textit{Tien-Yien Li} [ibid. 17, 177-186 (1976; Zbl 0357.41011)].
