The author studies a \(CR\) mapping between smooth real manifolds \(M\) and \(\overline M\) in \(\mathbb{C}^n\). He seeks conditions which guarantee that such a mapping will be automatically smooth. Since the case when \(M\) and \(\overline M\) are hypersurfaces is fairly well understood, he concentrates on the case of higher codimension. The main result of the paper is that if \(M\), \(\overline M\) satisfy certain non-degeneracy conditions and if the mapping extends holomorphically to a wedge with edge \(M\) then the desired smoothness is obtained.
