Very briefly, there are considered: hyperbolic complex numbers (i.e., the square of the imaginary unit is equal to one) and the corresponding hyperbolic plane; analogues of metric space and certain topological notions for it which reflect peculiarities of the case; relations with quantum mechanics. The aim of the paper is stated in the concluding section where it is said that hyperbolic complex spaces ``provide a unified mathematical basis frame for two kind of theories'', that is, quantum mechanics and restricted theory of relativity. It is hard to understand from the text whether this conclusion has enough foundation since the paper is very vaguely written, e.g., sections 2 and 3 occupying three pages contain eleven definitions (mostly not so clear because of unclear usage of English) with no theorems, and they are followed by section 4 with neither definitions nor theorems.
