There are only partly answers to the question, which convex polygons tile the plane. In this paper necessary and sufficient conditions are given for equilateral convex pentagons that tile the plane. The angles of the pentagon are about \(71^ o\), \(145^ o\), \(98^ o\), \(100^ o\) and \(135^ o\).
