Es wird ein Iterationsverfahren der Ordnung 5 zur Berechnung von einfachen Nullstellen einer nichtlinearen Funktion f(x) hergeleitet. Es benötigt pro Schritt zwei f(x)- und zwei f'(x)-Werte. Die Verallgemeinerung des Verfahrens auf nichtlineare Operatorgleichungen und die Konvergenz des Verfahrens wird ebenfalls gebracht.
