In Proc. Lond. Math. Soc. 27, 101-125 (1973; Zbl 0269.18009), the author showed that Wall's L-groups of quadratic forms and formations over a ring with involution coincide with the cobordism groups of quadratic Poincaré complexes. In the present paper th author proves the same result in the general setting of L-groups of an additive category with involution.
