Extensions of the classical Weierstrass theorem are studied for homogeneous polynomials in \(d\) dimensions. Among other things, it is proved that continuous functions on symmetric convex sets with Dini-Lipschitz boundaries can be approximated as in the Weierstrass theorem, albeit by two homogeneous polynomials. Star shaped domains and domains with outer cusps are also discussed. For the latter, it is shown that the density property fails to hold. Finally, Jackson-type estimates are derived too.
