Cohomogeneity one special Lagrangian 3-folds in the deformed and the resolved conifolds (Q733357): Difference between revisions

First, the authors recall the basic facts about Calabi-Yau manifolds and special Lagrangian manifolds and describe the Calabi-Yau structure on the deformed conifold and the Stenzel metric on \(T^*S^n\). Next, they define the associated moment map and give some of its properties. Then authors prove that the only homogeneous example of special Lagrangian 3-fold in \(T^*S^n\) is the zero section, give their main examples of cohomogeneity one special Lagrangian fold in \(T^*S^n\) and describe their asymptotic behavior. The last section contains the study of cohomogeneity one special Lagrangian 3-folds in the resolved conifold.
