Abstract: The integral -motivic cohomology and the class module of a (rigid analytically trivial) Anderson -motive were introduced by the first author in [Gaz22b]. This paper is devoted to the determination of their rank and torsion in the particular case of tensor powers of the Carlitz -motive, namely, the function field counterpart of Tate twists . Classically, the integral motivic cohomology of is computed in terms of the odd -group . In chords with this analogy, we show that the denominator of Bernoulli-Carlitz rational fractions are involved in the torsion of the integral -motivic cohomology of Carlitz twists . We also conjecture that the special value of the Carlitz zeta function at generates the Fitting ideal of the class module of .
