This paper deals with continuity properties of the Wick-type star-product on the 2-sphere. First, the authors recall all basic notions concerning coadjoint orbits and complex structures. Then the authors recall and compare the constructions of star-products of Wick type on coadjoint orbits obtained independently by Alekseev-Lachowska and by Karabegov. They prove that they agree in general. The case of the 2-sphere is considered in detail. The quotient \(T_R\)-topology and reduction \(T_R\)-topology are introduced. The authors prove that they are equivalent.
