The paper contains two theorems which show how one can construct dual bases for the Bernstein basis of \(n\)-degree polynomials on the \(m\)- dimensional simplex \(S_ m\) either from a dual basis of \(x^ i\), \(i=0,1,\dots, n\) or from dual bases for the one-dimensional Bernstein bases \(B^ k_{i,k-i}\), \(i=0,1,\dots, k\) for \(k\)-degree polynomials, \(0\leq k\leq n\). Several examples illustrate the resulting dual basis in differential or in integral form.
