    Relative eigenvalue perturbation bounds are given for hyperbolic eigenvalue problems \(Hx=\lambda Jx\) with \(H\) positive definite and \(J= \operatorname {diag} (\pm 1)\). Graded and multiplicative perturbations are considered and bounds for the perturbation of eigenspaces are also included.
