Vibrations of alternating layers of an isotropic viscoelastic material and a viscous incompressible fluid are considered. Applying the homogenization method, the author derives the effective tensor through the local elastic moduli, viscosity, regular parts of the relaxation kernels having three additive components, and the volume fraction of the fluid inside a periodicity cell.
