A quasilinear chemotaxis-haptotaxis system with nondegenerate diffusion and a growth term, proposed in [\textit{M. A. J. Chaplain} and \textit{G. Lolas}, Math. Models Methods Appl. Sci. 15, No. 11, 1685--1734 (2005; Zbl 1094.92039); Netw. Heterog. Media 1, No. 3, 399--439 (2006; Zbl 1108.92023)] to describe cancer cell invasion into surrounding healthy tissue, is considered in three-dimensional domains with the homogeneous Neumann condition. The main result is that if the transport term is much smaller compared to the logistic term then solutions are global in time and bounded. Particular cases of that result were considered in [\textit{M. Winkler}, Commun. Partial Differ. Equations 35, No. 8, 1516--1537 (2010; Zbl 1290.35139); \textit{X.-R. Cao}, Z. Angew. Math. Phys. 67, No. 1, Article ID 11, 13 p. (2016; Zbl 1375.35566)].
