In the framework of the Mather theory it is defined the so-called barrier function which depends on some parameter. The authors of this paper find sufficient conditions in order to assure the continuity of the barrier function with respect to the parameter. Also, they gave an example of barrier function which do not fulfill the condition and it is discontinuous.
