    Das Bochner Theorem für eine positiv definite, stetige Funktion \(f\) in \(\mathbb{R}^n\) sagt aus, dass die folgenden drei Bedingungen äquivalent sind: (1) \(f\) ist positiv definit, (2) \(f\) ist die Fourier Transformatierte eines positiven, endlichen Maßes, (3) für jede \(C^\infty\) Funktion \(\varphi\) mit kompaktem Träger gilt \[ \iint \overline{f(x-y)} \varphi(x) \overline{\varphi(y)} dx dy= \langle f,\varphi^* \widetilde{\varphi}^* \rangle\geq 0,\quad\text{mit }\widetilde{\varphi}^*(x)= \overline{\varphi(-x)}. \] L. Schwartz hat diesen Satz auf den Raum der Distributionen erweitert, \textit{S.-Y. Chung} und \textit{D. Kim} auf den Raum der Fourier-Hyperfunktionen [Publ. Res. Inst. Math. Sci. 31, No. 5, 829-845 (1995; Zbl 0851.46030)] und \textit{J. Chung, S.-Y. Chung} und \textit{D. Kim} auf den Raum der positiv definiten Hyperfunktionen [Nagoya Math. J. 140, 139-149 (1995; Zbl 0849.46028)]. In dieser Arbeit liefern die Autoren den Beweis für den Raum der Ultradistributionen vom Roumieu und Beurling Typus, die zwischen den Distributionen und den Hyperfunktionen liegen. Die verallgemeinerten Funktionen in den entsprechenden Gelfand-Shilov Räumen sind die Anfangswerte von glatten Lösungen der Wärmeleitungsgleichung, mit passenden Wachstumsbedingungen, einem Ansatz von \textit{T. Matsuzawa} folgend [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 313, No. 2, 619-654 (1989; Zbl 0681.46042)].
