\textit{B. Jüttler} [Adv. Comput. Math. 8, No.~4, 345--352 (1998; Zbl 0913.41004)] first gave an explicit formula for the dual basis functions of the Bernstein polynomials with respect to the usual inner product of Hilbert space. By introducing the inner product matrix of two vector functions and using conversion matrix, the authors give explicit formulas for the dual basis functions of Wang-Bézier type generalized Ball bases with respect to the Jacobi weight function [cf. \textit{A. Rababah} and \textit{M. Al-Natour}, Appl. Math. Comput. 199, No.~2, 456--463 (2008; Zbl 1143.65021)]. It is claimed that the dual basis functions presented in the paper are more general than those in the papers referred above.
