The author studies the local existence, global continuation of mild and classical solutions for some integrodifferential equations with infinite delay. The linear part is assumed to be not necessarily densely defined and satisfies the Hille-Yosida condition. The delayed part is locally Lipschitz continuous. The phase space is axiomatically defined.
