Robust stabilization against structured perturbations (Q913750): Difference between revisions

This research monograph is concerned with aspects of robust stability and robust stabilization of linear time-invariant systems containing a real parameter vector which is subject to structured perturbation. Both the transfer function and state space approaches to robust stability analysis, estimation of the size of the stability region in parameter space as a function of controller parameters, and preliminary controller design issues are addressed. The objective is to provide effective and simple solutions and, therefore, performance measure requirements related to system response are not incorporated. The monograph is readable and should be a useful prelude to more detailed exposition of results which are either appearing or are expected to appear in the future on the isues cited in the final chapter.
