Der Verfasser beschreibt eine homogene Koordinatendarstellung der projektiven Ebene über der Cayley-Algebra \(\mathbb{O}\) der Oktaven, die eine getrennte Behandlung von affinen und von Fernpunkten vermeidet. Die Punkte und die Geraden der Ebene werden dabei durch identifizierte Tripel \((x_ 1,x_ 2,x_ 3)\in\mathbb{O}^ 3\) dargestellt, bei denen wenigstens ein \(x_ i=1\) ist.
