Koras-Russell threefolds of the second kind are a family of complex algebraic exotic affine spaces of dimension three endowed with a hyperbolic \(\mathbb{G}_{m}\)-action, characterized among other such exotic spaces by the property that they admit a unique equivalence class of actions of the additive group \(\mathbb{G}_{a}\). In the article under review, the author determines the structure of the group \(\mathrm{Aut}(X)\) of algebraic automorphisms of such a threefold \(X\): it is the semi-direct product of the multiplicative group \(\mathbb{G}_{m}\) and of an infinite dimensional unipotent group, isomorphic to the underlying group of the ring of invariants of the unique \(\mathbb{G}_{a}\)-action on \(X\). In particular, \(\mathrm{Aut}(X)\) is an infinite dimensional group generated by algebraic subgroups isomorphic to \(\mathbb{G}_{m}\) and \(\mathbb{G}_{a}\).
