A numerical scheme for a class of nonlinear Fredholm integral equations of the second kind (Q843150): Difference between revisions

The classical nonlinear Fredholm integral equations of the second kind are considered. The following numerical approach is applied: at the first step the authors define a discretized form of the integral equation based on the application of Newton-Cotes quadrature formulas for instance; at the second step for the system of nonlinear equations the iterative method is applied. The convergence of this method is proved. In conclusion some numerical examples are adduced.
