It is known that in the context of dynamical systems the spectral properties of transfer operators and the zero sets of analytically extended holomorphic functions are related through Ruelle's generalized Fredholm determinants and dynamical zeta functions. This paper deals with the intermittent case for certain real analytic mappings of an interval and associated Perron-Frobenius type transfer operator \({\mathcal M}\). Moreover, a regularized Fredholm determinant \(d(\lambda)\) is introduced and the relationship between its analytic properties and the spectrum of \({\mathcal M}\) is investigated.
