The investigation of periodic motion stability of impact systems consists in formulating recurrence equations describing the evolution of periodic motion disturbances from impact to impact. The above investigation can lead to recurrence equations with isolated fixed points or to recurrence equations with manifold of fixed points. The main purpose of this paper is to investigate the second case of the stability of impact systems.
