The author defines and studies the modular vector field of a Poisson Nijenhuis Lie algebroid. The relative modular class of a Lie algebroid morphism was first discussed by Kosmann-Schwarzbach, and Weinstein. It was also proved that a modular vector field of a Poisson Nijenhuis manifold can be defined. In this paper, the author generalizes the result by considering the modular vector field of a Poisson Nijenhuis Lie algebroid. After some recalls about Nijenhuis operators and Poisson structures on Lie algebroids, the author shows that the modular vector field of a Poisson Nijenhuis Lie algebroid defines a hierarchy of bi-Hamiltonian vector-fields. Finally, it is proved that this hierarchy induces an integrable hierarchy on the base manifold, which is not necessarily a Poisson Nijenhuis manifold.
