A generalized weighted Green function \(G_D(z; \varphi)\), introduced recently by the author, is defined in the following way. Let \(D\) be a hyperconvex manifold of pure dimension \(n\), and \(\varphi\) be a plurisubharmonic function on \(D\), such that \(e^\varphi \in {\mathcal C} (D)\), the set \(\varphi^{-1} (-\infty)\) is compact, and the set \(\{a\in D\); \(\nu (\varphi;a) > 0\}\) is dense in \(\varphi^{-1} (-\infty)\) and meets each component of \(D\). Then \(G_D(z; \varphi)\) is the upper envelope of plurisubharmonic functions \(u(z)\) on \(D\) such that \(u\leq 0\) and \(\nu(u;\cdot) \geq\nu (\varphi; \cdot)\) on \(D\). In the paper under review, properties of this pluricomplex Green function are studied. It is characterized as the unique function \(G(z) \) in \(\text{PSH} (D)\cap L^\infty_{\text{loc}} (D\setminus \varphi^{-1} (-\infty))\) with \(G(z) \to 0\) as \(z\to \partial D\), \(\nu(G;a) =\nu (\varphi;a)\) \(\forall a\in D\), and \((dd^cG)^n =\sum_a (2\pi\nu (\varphi; a))^n \delta_a\). To prove the uniqueness, a maximum principle is established for a class of unbounded plurisubharmonic functions. A more general Dirichlet problem is considered, too. Some questions are posed.
