Starting from the works of \textit{N. Ginoux} [J. Geom. Phys. 52, 480--498 (2004; Zbl 1077.53026)] and \textit{K. Smoczyk} [Calc. Var. Partial Differ. Equ. 10, 41--48 (2000; Zbl 0971.53046)] this paper can be framed into a series of other ones, where well-behaved geometric objects on submanifolds are obtained from parallel objects on the ambient manifold. The authors establish conditions on an ambient Kähler manifold \(M\) and on an immersed Lagrangian submanifold \(L\), in order to get information on the spectrum of the Hodge Laplacian acting on differential forms of \(L\). For this they make use of the spin\(^c\) geometry of \(M\) and the symplectic geometry of \(L\). There are two different successful situations: when \(M\) is a complete Calabi-Yau manifold and when it is an \(2n\)-dimensional Kähler-Einstein compact manifold with scalar curvature \(4n(n+1)\). In the first case, considering the trivial spin structure on \(M\) and assuming \(L\) to be compact, the authors prove that the restrictions to \(L\) of non-trivial parallel spinor fields on \(M\) are non-trivial harmonic complex forms, which yield sharp estimates on the Betti numbers of \(L\), improving those obtained by K. Smoczyk (loc. cit.). In the second case, using the cone on the maximal Maslov covering of such an \(M\), they prove the existence of Kählerian Killing spinor fields for different spin\(^c\) structures on some such manifolds \(M\): the canonical (respectively, anti-canonical) spin\(^c\) structure, the case when \(M\) has a complex contact structure and when \(M\) is the complex projective space \(\mathbb{C}P^n\). Using these fields, the authors derive some results about the eigenvalues of the Hodge Laplacians on certain minimal Lagrangian submanifolds and if \(M=\mathbb{C}P^n\) they give also lower bounds for their multiplicities. These estimates improve those found by \textit{K. Smoczyk} [Calc. Var. Partial Differ. Equ. 14, 107--113 (2002; Zbl 1002.53034)]. Moreover, they are able to obtain information concerning the eigenvalues of the Hodge Laplacians on some symmetric spaces as well as lower bounds for their multiplicities. Finally, applications on the Morse index of certain compact minimal Lagrangian submanifolds are established.
