A least square extrapolation method for improving solution accuracy of PDE computations (Q1873373): Difference between revisions

This paper deals with a numerically efficient method based on the idea of finding automatically the order of a method as the solution of the least square minimization problem on the residual. The authors illustrate the potential of the method with a singular perturbation problem as a two-dimensional turning point problem with sharp internal transition layer. Further, some promising results for incompressible flows are presented.
