The Boltzmann equation with an inhomogeneous term \(\frac{\partial f}{\partial t}+\xi\cdot\nabla_xf=Q(f,f)+S_0\) is considered, where \(f=f(t,x,\xi)\) is the unknown scalar function which stands for the distributional density of gas particles at time \(t\) in the phase space of particle position \(x\in \mathbb{R}^n\) and velocity \(\xi \in \mathbb{R}^n\), while the inhomogeneous term \(S_0=S_0(t,x,\xi)\) is the distributional density of a given source of gas particles and \(Q\) is the collision operator. The problem of the existence of a time-periodic solution, which is close to an absolute Maxwellian and has the same period as the inhomogeneous term. The spatial dimensions \(n\geq 5\) are considered and also the cases \(n=3;4\) when the spatial integral of the macroscopic component in the inhomogeneous term vanishes. Such solution is unique near the relevant Maxwellian and asymptotic stable. The results of such type are obtained for the space-periodic boundary condition.
