Graph-approximation of set-valued maps on noncompact domains (Q1295361): Difference between revisions

The author obtains important results concerning approximation on the graph of multivalued mappings. Well-known results for the domains of the mappings to be compact ANR-spaces are generalized to the case when the domain is a finite-dimensional metric space, a locally finite dimensional polyhedron, or an arbitrary absolute neighbourhood retract. The presented proofs are difficult and interesting.
