In this paper, the author introduces the notion of tautological ring for the moduli spaces of spin curves and studies some relations among the tautological classes motivated by physics. These classes were defined by Mumford for the moduli space \(\overline{M}_{g,n}\) of \(n\)-pointed stable curves; here this definition is extended to the moduli space \(\overline{S}_{g,n}\) of \(n\)-pointed stable spin curves. The tautological ring of \(\overline{S}_{g,n}\) is a non-trivial extension of that of \(\overline{M}_{g,n}\). Having made the definitions, the author obtains some relations generalising those of Mumford and gives examples in low genus.
