In this paper the authors present a symbolic pseudo differential calculus on the Heisenberg group. The relation between the Weyl quantization and the Schrödinger representations of the Heisenbeg group enables them to consider scalar valued symbols. They give conditions defining the symbol classes. Applications are given to Schwartz hypoellipticity and to subelliptic estimates on the Heisenberg group.
