A convolution operator for measurable radial symmetric in \(\mathbb{R}^n\) functions belonging to the power weighted Lebesgue and Lorentz spaces is considered. Boundedness properties of this operator in these spaces are established. Some applications of the obtained results to inequalities for Riesz potentials of radial functions in weighted Lorentz spaces and embedding theorems for radial Besov spaces with power weights are presented.
