The central factorials are polynomials of the form \[ x^{[n]}=x(x + n/2 - 1)(x + n/2 - 2)\cdots (x - n/2 + 1). \] Expressing \(x^{[n]}\) via \(x^k\), \(k=0,1,\ldots ,n\), and vice versa, one obtains the central factorial numbers of the first and second kind respectively. The author proves two identities containing, on the one hand, some expressions with the central factorial numbers, and on the other hand, the Bernoulli polynomials.
